Klear Gard™ WB is a water-based, clear acrylic emulsion formulated to be used as a concrete sealer and dustproofer. It is a
light amber liquid that dries clear leaving a protective film that provides performance characteristics comparable to a solvent based acrylic sealer.
Further, the water based nature of Klear Gard™ WB makes the product non-flammable and non-toxic allowing the user to avoid
health hazards encountered with solvent based systems, particularly when used in enclosed areas.
When it comes to versatility, cost, performance, and safety, Klear Gard™ WB offers a new and unattainable balance of
properties.

Basic Uses
Unsurfaced structural concrete functions as flooring in residential, industrial, and commercial buildings such as homes, warehouses,
factories, office buildings and shopping centers. Concrete serves well in this role because it has tremendous compressive strength and durability.
Despite these virtues, unsurfaced concrete presents two major drawbacks as a flooring material.
First, it is generally extremely porous, and second, it is relatively brittle with an irregular surface pattern leading to the
development of dust. The shear force generated by the passage of heavy traffic over the concrete abrades tiny surface irregularities that are released
as dust particles.
To prevent dust, architects and maintenance crews customarily apply a concrete sealer and a dustproofer such as Klear Gard™ WB, which
is designed to penetrate into the open concrete pores filling them with a hard polymer resin, while also coating the surface for added protection. This
penetration and surface protection is very important in providing a long life to concrete surfaces.
